In what could be a gross misleading, websites of Municipal Administration of Andhra Pradesh are displaying the pictures of the tall skyscrapers, architecturally-striking bridges that were actually aren’t located in the new state. It’s reported that websites – CDMA and MUAD – contain New York’s tall building and Hong Kong’s bridge besides several others.
A pic of world-famous Empire State Building, the 102-storey skyscraper in Manhattan, New York City and another picture of the Tsing Yi South Bridge of Hong Kong were among the photos of foreign buildings that were spotted on AP’s Municipal Administration site.
This is now inviting flak from various corners. Opposition parties are questioning the motive behind displaying buildings, bridges and other infrastructure of foreign buildings that meant to showcase as our pwn infrastructure.
These pictures have been doing the rounds on various social media platforms and particularly WhatsApp, for all the wrong reasons. Naturally, it’s receiving all the criticism.
