Sai Dharam Tej who is riding high on the success of ‘Virupaksha’ is going to work with commercial director Sampath Nandi soon. He is awaiting the release of ‘BRO’ which is arriving on 28th July. The movie with Sampath Nandi is reportedly titled ‘Ganja Shankar’ and the shooting is expected to start in the month of July.
In the meanwhile, Sampath Nandi and his team are in search of the heroine. Sampath Nandi is known for showcasing his heroines very glamorously and he is planning to rope in a star female lead this time. Apparently, two names are being considered for the heroine role. It is either going to be Sreeleela or Pooja Hegde.
The makers are yet to take a final call but both the heroines are very busy right now. Sreeleela is the busiest heroine in Tollywood right now with more than eight films in her kitty. Pooja Hegde too has 2-3 projects lined up. Among the two, it will be easy to get Pooja’s dates but many say that she is on the decline now. We need to wait and see who becomes the heroine of ‘Ganja Shankar’.
It has been more than a decade since Sampath Nandi delivered a hit. After ‘Racha’, he made movies like ‘Bengal Tiger’, ‘Gautham Nanda’ and ‘Seetimaar’. None of them were proper hits and his movies are often criticized for being stuck in the commercial trap. Let us see what he delivers with Sai Dharam Tej.
