Samantha is one of the very few actresses in South who owns a huge following and a good market. She has the capacity to bring people into theatres thanks to her stunning glamour and superb acting skills. Apart from acting beside big names in South and North, she is also acting in some female oriented films. She already did ‘U Turn’ and ‘Oh! Baby’ till date. She played the lead role in Gunasekhar’s epic mythological drama ‘Shaakunthalam’. As we know, it is about the love story of Shakunthala and King Dushyantha.
Senior filmmaker Gunasekhar endured a lot of difficulties for ‘Rudramadevi’ back in 2015. He somehow recovered its budget but he decided to produce and direct ‘Shaakunthalam’ which is made on a huge budget. Backed by Dil Raju, the shooting of this movie has been wrapped up a long time ago but there is no update about the film till date. People have already forgotten about this flick.
These days, the filmmakers are promoting their films even when the shooting isn’t complete. They are releasing regular updates in order to keep the buzz alive. They start with posters, move to lyrical videos, release a teaser, follow it up with a few key updates and finally release the trailer which takes the expectations quite high. But the shooting of ‘Shaakunthalam’ wrapped up in August 2021 as announced by the makers and only a poster was released since then. There are reports that Dil Raju and Samantha are not impressed by the output. The makers are not even releasing a simple update about this flick and all people saw till date was a poster of Samantha.
When Neelima Guna was quesioned about it on social media, she said that the teaser and rest of the updates will be coming soon and also confirmed that the film will be releasing this year. Let us wait and see how ‘Shaakunthalam’ team brings back the lost hype on this movie.

Allu Arjun & Balakrishna Set to Become Chiranjeevi’s Neighbours in Jubilee Hills
Jubilee Hills continues to be one of the most elite and sought-after localities in the city, home to several influential personalities and top film stars. Now, the neighborhood is set to get even more star power with two interesting relocations making headlines.
Reports suggest that Allu Arjun and Nandamuri Balakrishna are likely to become new neighbours of megastar Chiranjeevi, who already owns a lavish residence in the area.
Interestingly, both Allu Arjun and Balakrishna are already residents of Jubilee Hills. However, Balakrishna, who has been living in the Road No. 45 zone — an area that has become increasingly congested over time — is now planning to shift to a more private and spacious locality. He has reportedly acquired land close to Chiranjeevi’s residence and is expected to move there once construction is complete.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun has been staying in his family home in Jubilee Hills but is now preparing to move into a brand-new house. Coincidentally, his new residence is also said to be coming up in close proximity to Chiranjeevi’s home.
With both houses currently under construction, it looks like Chiranjeevi will soon be welcoming two prominent members of the film fraternity into his upscale neighborhood, adding even more glamour to the already star-studded Jubilee Hills.
