In a rather emotional speech, Congress party president Sonia Gandhi responded loud to ruling party’s criticism and comments on her nationality. Sonia Gandhi claims to be Indian and she will leave her last breath here, and her mortal remains will go in sacred river Ganga. In her campaign for Congress in Kerala for coming elections, Sonia Gandhi spoke at length and said she is not ashamed of being born in Italy, neither about her 90 year old mother who stays in Italy today.
Coming down heavily on Modi and RSS, Sonia says that she is not expecting them to understand her 46 year old nationality. Sonia speaks about being born in a respectable Italian family and as her beloved people shed their blood in Indian land, she vows to live here till her last breath.
Sonia Gandhi’s ‘nationality’ outburst is in response to Narendra Modi’s satires on her during his speech at Kerala during BJP campaign for elections.
