Will it be Dubai or the US – this, according to highly placed sources in the TDP, is the question before Chandrababu Naidu these days. The TDP chief is said to be planning to go on a vacation either to Dubai or to the US to be away from the political humdrum.
It is now clear that the party will not win the Tirupati Lok Sabha seat. The polling trends have clearly shown that the YSRCP had an edge during every stage of polling. Now the panchayats, ZPTCs, MPTCs and municipalities are filmy in the YSRCP kitty. So, immediately there is nothing much to do in the TDP. At the same time, there is mounting opposition to Lokesh Babu within the TDP. More and more leaders are questioning Lokesh Babu’s credentials and abilities to lead the party. Unfortunately for Chandrababu, the dissenting voices are all in key positions within the party and acting against them would have consequences. So, there is nothing much that Chandrababu could do at this time.
Hence, he is said to be planning a vacation so that he could be away from the politics for some time. Sources say that he would prefer to go to the US as TANA elections are underway.TANA is the mainstay for the TDP politics and having his nominees as office bearers of TANA would be useful for him. Hence, he may fly off to the US, say those close to him.
