Young Tiger NTR did many interesting movies in his career. While some turned out to be hit, some ended up being a box-office failure despite having a good story. ‘Ooseravelli’ directed by Surender Reddy is one such film that had an interesting story but failed to get the hit talk.
Ajith’s ‘Vedalam’ was loosely inspired by ‘Ooseravelli’ and sources say that NTR’s film will be remade in Hindi. Top production house ‘Tip Films’ has acquired the remake rights and a team of writers are reportedly working on the script to suit the Hindi audience. It was remade in Bengali a few years back and if reports are to be believed, Akshay Kumar will be acting in the Hindi version.
Akshay recently remade ‘Kanchana’ as ‘Laxmmi’. Previously, he worked on remakes like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and others. Now that the remake rights have been bought for ‘Ooservalli’, it is to be seen if it impresses the Hindi audience or not.
