Will TDP Swallow Jana Sena ?

Mahanadu is one annual festival held by TDP every year right from its inception three decades ago and it is also considered as the moment when the party’s vision and its stand is spelt out with much vigour. It is an annual must see affair for political analysts and common man.

This time there has been an unusual invite extended to power star Pawan Kalyan, who is also the chief of Jana Sena party, for all three days of the festival or atleast on the last day of festival, in case he is unable to take some time off from his schedule. This is the high light of Mahanadu this year.

Usually, there has never been any tradition of inviting anyone who is not from the party for this annual event but a special invite by Naidu is passing a lot of signals. Sources say that Chandrababu wants to signal that Pawan is now like family and indirectly an inseparable part of TDP, which would strengthen TDP’s chances in future too!

Hence, in a way the grapevine is that whether TDP wants to take up Jana Sena in the manner in which PRP was merged with Congress. While many dismiss this as mere speculations, there are others who say that while PRP with leaders and MLA’s could be taken, why not Jana Sena without any cadre, leaders or MLAs.

Janhvi Kapoor Kept Low-Key in Peddi Promotions—Twist Angle?

April 15, 2026

If you closely observe the promotions of Peddi, one thing stands out clearly—Janhvi Kapoor has been kept surprisingly low-key. Despite her appearance in the “Chikiri” song with a glamorous presence, the spotlight largely shifted to Ram Charan and his energetic cricket-shot dance moves. While Janhvi was present, she wasn’t projected as a major highlight in the promotional material.

The team also released another chartbuster, Rai Rai Raara, which is a solo track focused entirely on Ram Charan. Naturally, Janhvi’s absence there didn’t raise questions. However, the bigger discussion now is whether Peddi actually features a proper commercial duet between the lead pair. If it does, fans are curious about when it will be released.

Interestingly, reports suggest that the film includes only one song featuring both Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor—and that too is said to be a soft, situational romantic melody rather than a typical mass dance number. This approach appears to reflect director Buchi Babu Sana’s distinct style, leaning more towards subtle storytelling rather than commercial formula, unlike his mentor Sukumar.

Adding to the intrigue, strong buzz indicates that Janhvi’s character carries a major twist. A key revelation in the second half is said to significantly alter the perception of her role and impact the film’s narrative. To preserve this twist, the makers are intentionally avoiding projecting her as a conventional commercial heroine in promotions.

On the release front, June 4 is reportedly being considered as a strong option. With Toxic likely moving out of the race, the makers are eyeing a clear window for release. However, there is still no official confirmation, and the possibility of an April 30 release hasn’t been completely ruled out.

Overall, the promotional strategy suggests that Peddi is aiming to surprise audiences, especially with how Janhvi Kapoor’s role unfolds on screen.
