Jubilee Hills police have arrested Sunita Boya, a woman who came to the Geetha Arts office at Jubilee Hills Road No 45, alleging that filmmaker Bunny Vasu had cheated on her and tried to commit suicide.
According to a police report, Sunita Boya, who has been selling watermelons in the Malakpet area for some time, had some links with the film industry in the past. She has long accused the producer of cheating her saying that he will secure opportunities for her.
Bunny Vasu and his relatives have already lodged four complaints with Jubilee Hills police in this regard. She also went to jail twice. In two other cases, she was referred to Erragadda hospital for treatment.
After leaving the hospital, Sunita routinely targeted producer Bunny Vasu and posted a video announcing that she will commit suicide in front of the producer’s office.
Jubilee Hills police arrested Sunita Boya on Tuesday in front of the Geetha Arts office in connection with the incident. A case was registered against her with a complaint lodged by the office manager and she was produced before the court. Sunitha was later taken to a psychiatric hospital in Erragadda as she is not in a good condition.
