There is now complete clarity around Peddi. The much-awaited film starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor will not be releasing this month.

Initially slated for March 27 and later postponed to April 30, the film is now facing another delay as shooting and post-production work are still incomplete. While these are the primary reasons, sources suggest there are additional factors contributing to the latest postponement.

Although an official announcement is yet to be made, industry insiders confirm that the film will be pushed to a new release date, with clarity expected soon. Meanwhile, the team is continuing production, with a special song scheduled to go on floors later this week.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi features Ram Charan in the role of a rural youth skilled in multiple sports, including cricket and wrestling. The story revolves around how he uses these talents to achieve a larger personal and social goal.

The makers have already released two songs and a couple of video glimpses, which have generated decent buzz among audiences, keeping expectations intact despite the delay.
