Known for his ‘common man’ cartoons, R K Laxman was also famous for his other short stories. True to that, many of his admirers and fans got nostalgic by visiting one of his best creations ‘Malgudi Days’. Even today, that innocence and that purity in those episodes is unmatchable to any of the current serials.
The noted production house Rajshri officially owns the ‘Malgudi Days’ series and they have reportedly revealed that after RK Laxman’s demise, they have noticed a sudden upsurge in the number of hits on their youtube channel which have all the episodes of ‘Malgudi Days’.
