Actress Raashi Khanna, who has been juggling between films, OTT projects, and different film industries, has finally landed a new Telugu film. She will be seen in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan and directed by Harish Shankar. In the film, Raashi is said to be appearing in a glamorous role, something she says she is quite happy about.

While Raashi has done glamorous roles earlier as well, some people have questioned why she continues to take up such roles instead of choosing more artistic characters. Responding to these comments, the actress explained that director Harish Shankar had clearly told her that the role in Ustaad Bhagat Singh required a glamorous look, including outfits like shorts and skirts.

Raashi said that she trusted the director’s vision and therefore agreed to the role. She also made it clear that what a woman chooses to wear is completely her personal decision. According to her, whether it is Indian wear or western outfits, the choice should belong to the individual and not be dictated by others.

Her remarks are also being seen as a response to critics who often comment on how actresses should dress at public events or in films. Interestingly, with Harish Shankar earlier facing criticism over the glamorous presentation of Bhagyashree Borse in Mr. Bachchan, Raashi is aware that her role in Ustaad Bhagat Singh might also draw attention. However, it appears that the actress is already prepared to address any such criticism confidently.
