The Telangana state government has appointed her as the brand ambassador of Telangana Tourism. The controversy is currently going on regarding this.
The controversy was further exacerbated when Telangana Tourism Minister Srinivas Goud said he was unaware of the appointment of Dethadi Harika as a tourism brand ambassador. It seems that at least the Chief Minister’s office was unaware of this.
Minister Srinivas Goud said he had no information on the matter as he was busy with the elections. Srinivas Goud said, “We do not know who has appointed her as the ambassador of Telangana Tourism.” The minister said action would be taken against those who hired her without notice.
