Gen-X star Nani might be riding high in his career, yet one thing has been haunting the Eega star.That’s the release of his film Paisa. Directed by Krishna Vamsi, the film has been lying in cans for a while. The star is disappointed over it for a while and it’s clearly visible during the audio release of Uyyala Jampala held on Sunday night in Hyderabad.
When Nani landed on the dais and took a microphone, a few among audience went berserk and questioned him over the release of Paisa. Responding to them, Nani said, ‘It’s become like my Ranku Mogudu (illegal husband).’ That’s not all. Nani went onto add, ‘I hope it (Paisa) won’t contend with Uyyala Jampala.’ The latter comment has set tongues wagging in T-town. How come a star could demean his own film (in which he plays the lead role) even before its release? This has raised serious doubts over Krishna Vamsi’s directorial venture.
Looks like, the actor is suffering from foot-in-mouth disease. His latest comments have apparently invited wrath from few film folks. Let’s see how Vamsi will react to the statement by Nani.
