AR Rahman is a name that needs no introduction. The Oscar-winning composer is one of the best that Indian cinema has ever produced. His music crosses boundaries, ages, and generations. Now, his daughter Khatija Rahman is following her dad’s footsteps. The young talent has sung a lot of songs for his dad but she decided to become a music composer now with a film titled ‘Minmini’. ‘Sillu Karupatti’ fame Halitha Shameem is the director of this film and she took to social media and posted a click announcing Khatija’s involvement in this flick. Along with the picture, she wrote, “I am so happy to be working with this exceptional talent, Khatija Rahman, for Minmini. The euphonious singer is also a brilliant music composer. Some great music is underway!”
We have seen Yuvan Shankar Raja making a name for himself and earning a stupendous craze in South India despite being legendary Ilayaraja’s son. We hope Khatija Rahman too reaches great heights in her career and make a unique mark in the music industry just like her dad.
