Pulivendula MLA and former Chief Minister YS Jagan visited Sathya Sai district today to honor the family of martyr Sepoy Murali Naik.

The Andhra Pradesh government, led by CM Chandrababu Naidu, had already announced an ex gratia of ₹50 lakh, along with a 5-acre land parcel, a 300-yard house plot, and a government job for the bereaved family.

During his visit, Jagan spent time with Naik’s loved ones and contributed an additional ₹25 lakh from his personal funds, lauding the state’s swift and compassionate support for its fallen soldiers.

He commended both the government’s proactive measures and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s own ₹25 lakh donation, emphasizing the importance of standing by the families who sacrifice so much for the nation.
