Just a day ago, YS Sharmila, daughter of late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy, announced that she will contest from the Palair constituency in the Khammam district.
To everyone’s surprise, YS Sharmila on Thursday declared she will become the chief minister of Telangana with a win in the next assembly election.
Interacting with her followers, Sharmila said she is determined to bring back the golden rule of her late father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Telangana.
She also said that her new party will not form an alliance with any other party and will fight the elections with her own image. Sharmila named her public meeting, which is to be conducted in Khammam on April 9, as ‘Sankalpa Sabha’. She released the poster for the meeting.
