YS Viveka Case: CBI Eyeing This Angle in Probe?

The Murder of the former Lok Sabha member YS Vivekananda Reddy came as a shock to everyone. The issue took a political turn with both TDP and YCP targeting each other over the murder. TDP was in power while YCP was the opposition party when Viveka was killed. The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) came into the picture as the case was given to the central agency for investigation.

The Case can be seen in two parts. Before and after the CBI took over the case. With the central agency stepping in, the case was sensational developments and the Dastagiri touring approver remains the biggest development in the case so far.

He did not just turn approver, he even gave an insight into how the planning was made to take the life of Viveka and how the preparations and recce were made before killing him. Dastagiri in his statement alleged that big money was involved in this and he was promised Rs 5 crore as his share.

As Dastagiri also said that he was told by Erri Gangireddy that big people have a hand in this and they will deal with the pressure and other issues, the Central Bureau of Investigation is said to be looking into the angle to see if the big names that are believed to have a role in the case have anything to do with the money involved.

On the other hand, the CBI is also probing into the money angle from where the money was brought and who had arranged the money. As the money involved in the murder case is Rs 40 crore, the investigating officers are digging deeper to know the details of the money involved and the people who had gathered such a big amount.

If the CBI manages to get a small link in the money angle then it can be seen as a big breakthrough as it can guide the investigation officers to more people.

On the other hand, it has been widely reported that a few CBI officers from the national capital Delhi will reach Kadapa soon in connection with this. It is believed that they are coming to look into the angle. An official statement is expected from the officers.
