After winning the Local Body elections and Municipal elections, the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh has focused on the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections. The party has flagged off the campaign activities.
Campaigning for the contestants, YSRCP MLA Vasu Babu asked the voters to vote for Cycle, the party symbol of TDP. The MLA had campaigned for Jayalakshmi and Ganta Sri Lakshmi, ZPTC and MPTC candidates of the YSRCP respectively.
The YSRCP leaders and contestants were surprised by the MLA words. Realizing his mistake, the MLA said, he made these statements to make fun of the TDP party which has opted to not contest the Parishad polls.
Within no time, the video of MLA urging the voters to vote for the TDP went viral on social media and the TDP activists are trolling the MLA. They questioned how the MLA can forget his party symbol.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has reserved its verdict on the Parishad elections and the Court is expected to give its verdict on the issue on Tuesday.
