YSRCP thinks they can outsmart High Court?

We all are aware of the tough period that the AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is facing with the AP high court as most of his decisions went controversial and were questioned in the high court and even were halted the implementation.

One of the many stays issued by the High Court on the AP government decisions is the construction of the CM Camp Office. It is because there is a stay on the implementation of the Capital decentralization bill under which Visakhapatnam cannot be considered as the administrative capital of AP unless the AP government lifts the stay.

Hence, the AP High court strictly ordered that no administration works should take movement in Vizag. However, the AP government went heavy in the HC arguing that the construction of the CM camp office won’t come under a part of setting up the administrative capital.

The AP government’s argument is that the CM Camp office is a place where the CM stays, the government runs from there and reminded that CBN ruled the state from Rajahmundry during the 1996 cyclone and even on 2014 October, Naidu stayed in Visakhapatnam for nearly two weeks and operated during the HudHud super cyclone.

So, they concluded that the Camp office construction has nothing to do with the shifting of the administrative capital. Though there is a point in the argument of the AP government, the concept of the camp office is that if CM is forced to stay for a few days in an area other than the capital city, there should be an arrangement for him to stay and hold meetings.

When the state is in severe debt, there is this lavish CM Camp office being built in several acres, and the High Court questioned why this said-to-be temporary administration place needs the place equal to the area that the Rashtrapati Bhavan was constructed. This question is yet to be answered by the AP government.
