The news of promising star Sree Vishnu arriving with two films almost back-to-back created a huge buzz in trade circles. Initially, Mrityunjay was locked for a February 26 release, while Vishnu Vinyasam was scheduled for February 27, raising eyebrows across the industry.

After several discussions and careful consideration, the makers decided to avoid a direct clash. While Vishnu Vinyasam retained its release date, Mrityunjay has now been postponed by a week and will hit screens on March 6.

Since both films belong to completely different genres, each carries its own audience appeal. However, much depends on the audience verdict. If Vishnu Vinyasam emerges as a blockbuster, it could impact the momentum of Mrityunjay.
