Balayya’s Surprising Reaction to Bobby’s Chiru Fan Moment
Nandamuri Balakrishna (Balayya) has delivered yet another blockbuster, this time under the direction of Bobby Kolli, with Daaku Maharaaj. The film’s success was celebrated with grandeur at a special event held in Anantapur.
During the event, director Bobby Kolli, also known as Ravindra, expressed his admiration for Balakrishna’s genuine and unfiltered personality. Sharing a heartfelt anecdote, Bobby recounted a conversation with Balayya where the veteran actor inquired about his journey into films.
“I shared with him that I am a huge fan of Chiranjeevi Garu,” Bobby said. “To my surprise, Balayya Garu encouraged me with true sincerity. To this day, he respects me for who I am. He dislikes dishonesty and is incredibly candid. While many perceive Balayya Garu as a man of temper, I often tell my writer that if I had worked with him before my father passed away, I could have understood my father better. My father, too, was a straightforward person without filters,” Bobby revealed.
Reflecting on his experience, Bobby added, “Before this project, I didn’t know much about Balayya Garu personally. However, working with him allowed me to witness his immense kindness and sincerity up close. It was this connection that enabled me to create Daaku Maharaaj with both heart and intellect, ensuring every frame resonated with purpose and emotion.”
The director’s words highlighted Balakrishna’s multifaceted personality, offering a glimpse into the genuine camaraderie that contributed to the film’s success.
