Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4 is officially in production, marking the return of the hugely popular Muni/Kanchana horror-comedy franchise. Created and directed by Raghava Lawrence, the series has garnered a massive fan base over the years, starting with Muni in 2007, followed by Muni 2: Kanchana in 2011, Kanchana 2 in 2015, and Kanchana 3 in 2019. Now, after much anticipation, Kanchana 4 (K4) is finally moving forward, with Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms Pvt Ltd backing the project.

A major shooting schedule is set to take place in Mumbai from March 9 for five days at a studio in Naigaon. Raghava Lawrence, who is also directing and overseeing the project, is currently staying at Novotel in Juhu, finalizing the details for this schedule. The film is set to feature a high-octane action sequence involving a plane crash, which will be shot with Mumbai-based stunt fighters and action artists. However, Raghava Lawrence himself will not be part of this scene, as per sources close to the production.

The film has been locked with a massive budget of ₹100 crores, making it one of the biggest projects in the Muni/Kanchana franchise. The production follows a first-copy deal with producer Manish Shah, ensuring high-end technical and production values.

With its unique blend of horror, comedy, and action, Kanchana 4 is set to bring another thrilling cinematic experience to fans. Given the franchise’s past successes and Raghava Lawrence’s signature storytelling, expectations are sky-high for this latest installment. Fans can look forward to an electrifying mix of supernatural thrills and adrenaline-pumping action when Kanchana 4 hits the screens.
