Ashu Reddy Case: Telangana High Court Issues Strict Media Gag Order

Actress Ashu Reddy has approached the Telangana High Court following a complaint filed against her at the Hyderabad CCS. The case was registered based on allegations by an NRI named Dharmendra, who claimed that she cheated him by promising marriage.
Amid these developments, the High Court issued important interim directions to media organizations, content creators, and YouTubers. The court clearly stated that no defamatory or false content should be published or circulated about Ashu Reddy. It also directed that any material that could harm her reputation must not be shared.
Further, the court ordered the immediate removal of any already uploaded controversial or objectionable content related to her. It warned that strict legal action would be taken against those who fail to comply with these directions.
Reacting to the court’s orders, Ashu Reddy shared a post on social media urging everyone to respect the judiciary’s directions. She emphasized that the matter is currently sub judice and requested the media to respect her privacy. She also asked for the removal of objectionable posts and cautioned against publishing any new defamatory content. While thanking those who supported her, she reiterated that legal action would be taken against anyone violating the court’s orders.
