Chandrababu Naidu’s brainchild initiative Medtech Zone in Visakhapatnam has now emerged as a Corona Virus test kit producer thus manufacturing Corona Test Kits, Ventilators and helping the nation fight Corona.
With Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) given its consent, Medtech has started preparing the Rapid Test Kits, Ventilators. Taking full credit for setting up Medtech Zone in Vizag, TDP leaders praised the exemplary vision of their leader and former CM Chandrababu Naidu. Ex Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma hailed Chandrababu stating that his vision and dedication has helped the country a lot in these difficult times.
Devineni Uma has breathed fire on CM Jagan and his administration. He said Jagan and his government had earlier criticized Naidu’s visionary initiative Medtech Zone. He alleged Jagan of trying to stop Medtech zone to the core. Uma said now the same Medtech Zone is now giving breather. As part of the first phase, the Medtech Zone is producing 10,000 Corona Rapid Kits. It has begun the production of kits and ventilartos.
Uma said TDP would standby with doctors, nurses and medical staff at these critical times. He said a lady doctor in Ongole hospital and medical college staff and Dr N Sudhakar all have asked the government to provide PPEs to the front line warriors. Uma said all they have asked for is justice. He alleged that masks and respirators have been diverted to Ministers, MLAs and YCP leaders who are using masks and thus lacking it for medical staff.
The suspension of whistle-blower doctor Sudhakar in Andhra Pradesh has been taken seriously by the principal opposition party. TDP has condemned the act of the government and called for immediate revoking of the suspension and demanded the government to take back the suspended doctor into duty.
While N Sudhakar had alleged that doctors and medical staff lack masks and necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) supply to treat Corona Virus patients, his alarming statement on the lack of safety measures for the medical staff hasn’t gone down well with AP state government which suspended him from his duty.
The war of words between ruling and opposition parties continue over Sudhakar and other medical staff who are demanding for masks and necessary PPE supply.
