YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju is unstoppable. He continues to give more and more interviews to press about the shortcomings of the very government he is a part of. Today, in yet another press meet, RRR condemned the government for giving important posts to members of only one caste, despite people belonging to other castes having better qualifications.
RRR took the example of Ambati Krishna Reddy – who has passed only the 10th standard – and said that there are better people, equipped with more knowledge, to do what Ambati Krishna Reddy does. RRR told the Chief Minister that it is his responsibility to recognise all castes as one, and to give people posts based on their merit, and not on their caste.
RRR also said that whatever suggestions he’s giving the government is what the people are suggesting, and are not his personal suggestions. He also said that he would always want to see YSRCP in power, and Jagan as the CM for years to come, which is why he is making repeated suggestions to the government.
Speaking about the New Education Policy, RRR said that introducing English as the medium of instruction would go against the constitution (article 350A). He also said that every country teaches its children in their mother tongue, and that even the NEP stated that every student was supposed to be taught in their mother tongue till class 5. Furthermore, RRR said that the government is wasting the people’s money by going to the Supreme Court for every small issue.
RRR condemned the way the government is dealing with construction workers. He questioned why the government wasn’t giving them their due money, and raised doubts over the money being used for other purposes. He said that the main reason for the suffering of these construction workers is sand mafia, because of which constructions all over Andhra Pradesh have come to a stand-still, and because of which many workers are now out of their jobs. He also criticised the lack of proper action on the part of the government, with respect to getting a hold of the sand mafia.
RRR also addressed the issue of the state guest house that is to be constructed in Kapuluppada, near Visakhapatnam. He questioned if it was a mere coincidence that Praveen Prakash happened to release a GO right after the Court session, or if the government didn’t care what was going on in the High Court.
