Succeeding Acharya, news about Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Lucifer’ always topped the headlines. Now after considering many directors, Chiranjeevi’s 153rd film will be helmed by Mohan Raja and the project is all set to go on floors post Sankranti 2021.
Lucifer, the original version in Malayalam was directed by Prithviraj that featured superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. Mohan Raja is known to be an expert in handling remake projects. He is back after a huge gap of 19 years after his directorial Hanuman Junction.
There was a speculation earlier that milky beauty Tamannah would reprise the female lead role in Lucifer. But things seem to have not pan out as expected.
Now the exclusive news from our trusted sources is that the makers are in talks to bring Ileana on board for the project. Ileana was last seen in ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ opposite Ravi Teja. It’s well known that the hot beauty is busy in Bollywood. But it is learnt that she is quite interested to continue her stint in Tollywood. If everything goes well, her appearance alongside Chiru is surely going to enthrall the fans. Apart from this, a senior female supporting role is said to be played by Ramakrishna.
