The Delta Plus variant is slowly emerging as a big concern to the country. The list of states to have reported the infections of the Delta Plus variant is growing bigger. After northern states, the southern states are also reporting the infections.
The first case of the new variant was reported from Andhra Pradesh and the government had acknowledged it. The person underwent treatment and he had recovered from the variant.
Andhra Pradesh’s State Medical and Health Minister Alla Nani said the first infection was reported from Tirupati, a few days back. He was provided with the treatment and he is ok now.
The Minister said, no transmission of variants took place from the person. He was given the proper treatment. All the required measures were taken to be ready to tackle the Black Fungus and Delta Variant plus infections, he said.
So far the states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh have reported infections of the Delta Plus variant. The first death caused by the Delta Plus variant was reported in Maharashtra.
