Megastar Chiranjeevi is riding high on the blockbuster success of his last offering Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Well, we’ve already informed our readers that Chiranjeevi’s next film after Acharya, would be the remake of Malayalam super hit flick, Lucifer.
As per our latest reports, ace producer NV Prasad took Lucifer remake rights for the whopping Rs. 1.5 Crores. The film will be directed by Saaho director Sujith and we’ve heard that Sujith is making changes to the remake based on Chiru’s suggestions. Touted to be a political thriller with a brother and sister sentiment drama, Chiranjeevi will reprise the role of Mohanlal in the Lucifer remake.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is waiting to resume work on Koratala Siva’s Acharya. The film is being directed by Koratala Siva. The movie will be about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer, who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and misappropriation of temple funds and donations. Kajal Aggarwal is the film’s leading lady.
