Following the success of Dacoit, Adivi Sesh has made a notable shift in his career by signing two romantic dramas, marking a clear departure from his usual intense action and thriller space.
Speaking about this transition, Sesh said the decision was driven by his desire to step out of his comfort zone. One of the projects is being directed by debutant Sai Marthand, known for Little Hearts fame.
He shared that both scripts stood out for their unique take on love and relationships. Rather than conventional romance, the films explore human emotions, vulnerability, and the life-changing choices individuals make. Sesh expressed excitement about portraying such layered and emotionally driven characters.
At the same time, the actor continues to stay rooted in the thriller genre with G2, the much-awaited sequel to Goodachari. The film is expected to deliver high-octane action and slick storytelling, a style strongly associated with Adivi Sesh’s filmography.
He explained that G2 aims to present a spy narrative with a more personal touch, blending national and international elements. The film features Emraan Hashmi and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
On a lighter note, when asked about characters he would like to meet from cinema, Sesh mentioned his admiration for iconic duos and legends, saying he would love to meet Jai and Veeru and experience the charm of classic storytelling while also admiring the intensity of Amitabh Bachchan’s on-screen persona.
With this mix of romantic dramas and action-packed spy thrillers, Adivi Sesh appears to be expanding his creative range while continuing to balance commercial and content-driven cinema.
