Rana Daggubati has consistently supported emerging talent, both as a producer and presenter. His banner, Spirit Media, is now distributing Kothapallilo Okappudu, the directorial debut of Praveena Paruchuri, set to release on July 18th.

After a special screening, Praveena expressed heartfelt gratitude for the positive reception and for Rana’s steadfast support. “Rana has been incredibly approachable and welcoming. He embraced the film right away, and now I truly see his vision. I’d love to collaborate with him again,” she shared.

Speaking about her film, Praveena said, “The audience will relate to these characters. They are not black or white, but grey and human, each with their own flaws and journeys. Every character experiences a meaningful transformation.”

Rana reflected on what drew him to the project: “The moment I watched the film, I connected with the story. The characters feel like people we encounter in real life. Praveena, who balances her career as a cardiologist in the USA, and Manoj, the lead actor working in LA, have both delivered commendable work. They deserve all the applause. I hope Praveena continues both healing hearts and crafting stories. And Manoj—he’s a charming actor with great screen presence.”

On the possibility of working together again, Rana said, “Praveena will return to the U.S. for her cardiology practice for six months, but she’s already developing her next script. I’d definitely love to collaborate with her again in the future.”
