Allu Arjun’s Sci-Fi Epic with Atlee Sparks Massive Buzz
If industry rumours are to be believed, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is all set to play four different characters in his upcoming big-budget film with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 X A6. The buzz suggests that he will portray the roles of a grandfather, a father, and two sons in this ambitious project. Adding to the intrigue, the film is said to be based on the concept of two parallel universes. However, none of this has been officially confirmed by the makers yet.
The film has already become one of the most highly anticipated projects in Indian cinema. Back in June, the team welcomed Bollywood star Deepika Padukone onboard. A video released by Sun Pictures showed director Atlee narrating the script to her, followed by glimpses of Deepika’s motion capture scenes. The visuals hinted at her playing a powerful queen, equipped with horse-riding and sword-fighting sequences.
What sets this project apart is the scale of its production and the global talent involved. Several world-renowned technicians are working on the film, and an earlier announcement video featured some of them sharing their excitement after reading the script. James Madigan, known for his work on Iron Man 2 and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, said the script left his head spinning. Mike Elizalde called it one of the best concepts he has ever come across. Justin Raleigh, an Academy Award-winning FX artist, expressed enthusiasm about the potential for unique characters and creatures. William Write Anderson from Lola VFX stated that he couldn’t wait to be part of such an unbelievable story.
While the filmmakers have kept much of the storyline under wraps, the collaboration of Allu Arjun, Atlee, and Deepika Padukone, combined with a dream team of international technicians, has already created massive excitement. Whether the rumours of multiple roles and alternate universes are true or not, expectations are sky-high for a film that promises to be like nothing Indian cinema has seen before.
