Chandrababu Uses AI to Ease Traffic During Commute

Unlike the conventional practice of blocking roads for extended periods during VVIP movements, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is taking a more citizen-friendly approach. In a move to minimize public inconvenience during his commute, the CM is set to implement an advanced traffic management system powered by artificial intelligence.

To ensure smooth traffic flow between Gannavaram Airport and his residence in Undavalli, a total of 36 high-tech surveillance cameras are being installed along the route. These cameras are integrated with a centralized AI system designed to monitor traffic in real-time and optimize signal timings based on the movement of the CM’s convoy.

This intelligent system will manage traffic signals dynamically, reducing congestion and ensuring minimal disruption for regular commuters. The AI will allow the CM’s convoy to pass efficiently while maintaining normal traffic flow in other areas, thereby eliminating the need for prolonged roadblocks.

This smart traffic solution has been under testing for the past few months and is expected to be implemented shortly. As per initial assessments, the system could reduce traffic delays during the CM’s commute from over 10 minutes to under 5 minutes—benefiting both the convoy and the public.

By integrating technology into governance, CM Chandrababu Naidu once again demonstrates his commitment to efficient administration and public convenience.
