The Chennai cocaine scandal took a serious turn today as actor Krishna was brought in for questioning. This follows the earlier arrests of actor Srikanth and film producer Prasad, who is also a former AIADMK member.
Krishna, who hails from a notable film family, is currently being interrogated at Nungambakkam Police Station. Police believe Prasad supplied cocaine to several people in the entertainment industry and hosted drug-fueled parties. Krishna’s alleged involvement is still under scrutiny.
Famous for his role in Kazhugu, Krishna is the latest in a growing list of personalities tied to the case, which now includes 22 arrests — among them some police officers. Investigators say the probe is also revealing a web of job scams, blackmail, and illegal land deals. Police are pushing for custody of both Srikanth and Prasad to expose the full scale of this racket.
