The much-discussed project God of War is finally moving forward after months of speculation, bringing clarity to one of the most talked-about films in recent times. Initially planned with Allu Arjun and director Trivikram Srinivas, the project has now officially shifted to NTR, with the latest developments confirming the new casting lineup.

Despite occasional rumors suggesting Allu Arjun’s possible return to the project, the makers have now finalized their decision. An official announcement is expected on May 20, coinciding with NTR’s birthday, making it a special reveal for fans.

The film will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and is being designed as a grand mythological epic. Reports suggest that NTR may portray Lord Murugan, also known as Lord Kartikeya, adding strong devotional and cinematic appeal to the project. The film will be produced by S. Radha Krishna.

Before God of War goes on floors, Trivikram is expected to complete his ongoing film Adarsha Kutumbam, starring Venkatesh. The shoot is likely to wrap up in the coming months, followed by its release.

Post that, pre-production work on God of War will begin in full swing, with regular shooting expected to commence in 2027.
