Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan took a brief hiatus after Zero released in 2018. He began to be choosy in selecting the roles. Currently the actor is gearing up to be back on sets to face the camera by end of November 2020 for his next. He will commence shoot for Siddharth Anand’s directorial ‘Pathan’ at Yash Raj Films studio in Andheri. Aditya Chopra and Siddarth are eyeing to release it as an out and out masala entertainer.
The first schedule was planned by the team for about two months, which will cover Shah Rukh’s portion predominantly, after which a brief gap will be taken as part of new year break. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, who plays the villain, will join the second segment scheduled for January 2021.
The film features John locking horns with Shah Rukh for the first time ever. Makers have specifically written high energetic action scenes for the duo. Since this film too has adrenaline rush in the electrifying fight sequences like in war, director Siddarth has hired action director Parvez Shaikh, who has his credits for acclaimed action packed films like war, Brahmastra etc.
