Prabhas’s Busy Schedule Delays The Raja Saab Updates
As updates for The Raja Saab continue to be delayed, fans are becoming increasingly anxious with each passing week. Though there are industry rumors that the teaser is ready, fans are not satisfied with just that. They’re demanding clarity on the release date. If the film is indeed targeting 2025, fans are urging the makers to lock in and announce a concrete date.
Currently abroad, Prabhas is expected to dub for the teaser once he returns, after which further updates are expected to follow. However, finalizing Raja Saab’s release date is proving to be a complex task.
Director Maruthi is working out timelines for the remaining song shoots and pending talkie portions. But the biggest hurdle remains Prabhas’s packed schedule. In addition to Raja Saab, he’s committed to The Faujii, and doesn’t intend to delay that project either. The inconsistent rumors and scattered media reports about the film’s delay are only adding to the uncertainty and fueling fans’ concerns. While the teaser may temporarily calm things down, it won’t be a permanent solution. Once the teaser buzz fades, the same uncertainty is likely to return.
Given the current situation, a Dussehra release now seems nearly impossible. With major films like Kantara 2, Akhanda 2, Sambarala Yeti Gattu, and Idly Kadaai already set for that period, it’s wise to avoid releasing Raja Saab in such a crowded season. Diwali doesn’t appear to be an ideal time for a Tollywood release either. This leaves December as the only viable option. If the film is well-received, it could follow the successful model of Salaar. However, with Sankranti already packed with big releases, the film will need to secure its place before that time to make the most of its window.
Starring Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the female leads, The Raja Saab also features Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role. Thaman is currently reworking the music, and the focus now is on wrapping up the crucial parts of the shoot to move forward.
