The Huzurabad Assembly constituency which was left vacant with Etela Rajender resigning from his spot is expected to witness a by-election in September this year. The forthcoming elections will see a three-face fight between ruling TRS, BJP, and Congress.
The political parties are not leaving any stone unturned to shift the momentum towards them to attract the voters. It is said that Telangana Chief Minister KCR had deployed intelligence personnel in the Huzurabad constituency.
Etela, who left the ruling TRS and joined the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has upped the game in targeting KCR and he is not leaving any opportunity to launch an attack on the ruling party.
After Etela Rajender said BJP will crush the ruling political outfit in the upcoming elections and will emerge victorious in the polls, Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar joined the post and opined that victory will be BJP’s.
The state chief went on to say that TRS will not even get deposits in the election no matter what the party does. Saying that TRS is trying to influence the votes by giving money, Bandi Sanjay said, nothing can help the party in winning the elections.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar even claimed that the Intelligence personnel deployed by the Chief Minister to get the inputs from the constituency to know the mood of the voters informed KCR that winning the by-election is next to impossible.
His statements on the by-elections had increased the political heat at once. The political observers were shocked by Bandi Sanjay’s comments on how he can pass such comments ahead of the by-election.
It is interesting to know how Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao and the ruling TRS leaders will hit back at the comments made by Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
The by-elections for Huzurabad came with Etela who is not happy with the government stripping his Cabinet post and ordering for a probe into the alleged land grabbing allegations resigned from his MLA post and TRS membership.
The former Health Minister joined the saffron party earlier in June. Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and G. Kishan Reddy were present when Etela Rajender wore the saffron shawl.
