Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy is known for unexpected fluctuations in his talk. One doesn’t know whether he is praising somebody or attacking somebody.
For the last few weeks, JC has gone into a silent mode after the government unleashed a series of raids on his companies, booked cases against him and his brother J C Prabhakar Reddy and arrested several of his followers.
Yet, now and then, he surfaces before the media and makes strange comments. On Thursday, too, JC made some sensational comments against and also in favour of YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said at present, devil rule has been running in the state and demons are ruling the roost.
“All the police officers below the rank of DSP have been following whatever these demons are ordering,” he said.
JC said everybody shivers on seeing Jagan.
“Our man will not listen to anybody, even though courts are rapping his government. He is shifting the entire high court. He is caring a damn even if farmers of Amaravati have been agitating for 158 days. He is not asking what they want even now,” he said.
The former MP also criticised the TDP leaders for staging dharnas and hunger strikes against the government.
“He is least worried about these agitations. He doesn’t listen to Zindabad and Murdabad slogans. These mild actions will not bring any change in him. May be, half of the state has to stage dharna in front of his residence,” JC said.
On the water disputes between AP and Jagan, however, JC supported Jagan.
“Our man appears to be sincere in the Pothireddypadu issue. After all, there are instances of own brothers going to the level of cutting each other’s heads for the sake of water,” he said.
