Jr. NTR has often been compared to his legendary grandfather, NT Ramarao, not only for his strikingly similar facial features but also for his exceptional dialogue delivery and acting prowess. He has seamlessly carried forward the legacy of the iconic yesteryear stalwart.
In the early years of his career, Jr. NTR paid tribute to his grandfather’s legacy by referencing his dialogues and songs. He also starred in Yamadonga, a film loosely inspired by NT Ramarao’s cult classic Yamagola. However, despite his deep admiration, he has never taken on a full-fledged remake of his grandfather’s iconic films.
In a recent interview, Jr. NTR addressed the possibility of stepping into his grandfather’s mythological roles. He expressed his willingness to take on such a project but emphasized the need for the right producer and director. “Given my grandfather’s legendary stature in mythology, I must approach it with care. I’ll certainly consider it when the right opportunity arises,” he stated.
A remake featuring Jr. NTR in one of NT Ramarao’s celebrated mythological epics would undoubtedly be a delight for Nandamuri fans and cinephiles. However, fans may have to wait for a long time, as the star is currently committed to WAR 2 with Hrithik Roshan, Prashanth Neel’s Dragon, and Koratala Siva’s Devara 2, keeping him occupied for the next three years.
