Rishab Shetty’s fantasy action-adventure Kantara: Chapter 1 continues its unstoppable run at the box office. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie has recently crossed the ₹100 crore mark in the Telugu states, becoming only the second dubbed film after KGF 2 to achieve this milestone. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone, the film has grossed over ₹110 crore.
The film has also achieved a monumental milestone globally, surpassing the ₹800 crore mark to emerge as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. Currently, Kantara: Chapter 1 has amassed over ₹818 crore worldwide.
Even with new releases hitting theatres every week, the Rishab Shetty-directed epic continues to dominate. To expand its reach further, the makers have announced the release of an English-dubbed version with a crisper runtime on the 31st of this month, aiming to conquer new milestones in the weeks ahead.
