KCR Returns to Assembly After 16 Months – Will He Stay or Exit?

Share

Since the 2023 electoral setback, BRS president and former Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been noticeably absent from Assembly sessions. Despite multiple attempts by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to bring him back into the Assembly, KCR remained reluctant—until now.

Today, after nearly 16 months, KCR finally set foot in the Telangana Assembly to participate in the Budget Sessions. This marks the first time since the elections that KCR and Revanth Reddy were seen seated in the Assembly at the same time, a long-awaited visual that many had been anticipating.

While KCR’s presence has created significant political buzz, the key question remains—will he stay for the entire session or make a premature exit to avoid a direct confrontation with Revanth Reddy? The former CM has been known to steer clear of verbal duels with the Congress leader, making his next move a point of curiosity.

Meanwhile, KCR’s return to the Assembly has sparked a social media debate over whether YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will follow suit in the AP Assembly. Though Jagan did briefly attend the Budget Session, he walked out within minutes, seemingly just to mark his attendance.

With political dynamics shifting in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, all eyes are now on KCR’s approach inside the Assembly and whether this signals a more active role in opposition politics.
