Suriya has joined hands with director Karthik Subbaraj for his much-anticipated upcoming film Retro, featuring Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The trailer for the film was unveiled today, setting the tone for what appears to be a high-octane, stylized action drama.

The trailer kicks off with rapid introductions of the key characters—Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Joju George, and more—through quick-cut visuals. It quickly shifts gears into an intense action montage, where a man appears to be gearing up for battle. The trailer has a loud and dramatic tone, hinting at the film’s larger-than-life storytelling.

Amidst all the chaos, there’s a tender moment where Suriya promises Pooja Hegde that he’ll stay away from violence and crime.
