The 2025 heist action-comedy Robinhood, starring Nithiin, may not have made waves at the box office, but it has found new life on digital platforms. Since its premiere on ZEE5 on May 10, the film has taken off, clocking over 50 million streaming minutes and securing the top spot on the platform.

Directed by Venky Kudumula, Robinhood features Nithiin as Ram, an orphan-turned-thief who targets the corrupt wealthy elite. The plot thickens as he gets entangled with a dangerous drug mafia, joined by Sreeleela as Neera and a surprise cameo by Australian cricketer David Warner. While the film didn’t quite resonate with theatrical audiences, its blend of action, social justice, and quick-witted humor seems to have struck a chord with OTT viewers.

The story follows Ram and Neera through a high-energy series of heists and close calls, keeping streaming audiences hooked with its fast pace and engaging twists. The film’s digital success is a reminder that some stories find their true audience beyond the cinema halls.
