The prestigious Miss World 2025 pageant officially commenced in Hyderabad with a spectacular cultural welcome. Contestants from around the globe have arrived in the city, marking the beginning of this world-class event.
The festivities began with a Heritage Walk through Hyderabad’s historic Old City, starting at the iconic Charminar. The contestants were greeted in true Hyderabadi style—vibrant Marfa music filled the air, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. Dressed in colorful attire, the participants captured the moment with photographs at Charminar, which are now going viral on social media.
The ‘Forum for a Better Hyderabad’ organized the heritage walk to highlight the city’s rich cultural and historical tapestry. The guided tour included prominent landmarks such as Mecca Masjid, Chowmahalla Palace, Banshahi Ashurkhana, Khilwat Mubarak, and the bustling Lad Bazaar, offering a glimpse into Hyderabad’s regal past.
In the evening, the contestants were hosted at the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace, where the atmosphere was elevated by the soothing sounds of a Hindustani shehnai recital. A grand dinner was held in their honor, celebrating the city’s famed hospitality and royal traditions.
To facilitate the event, traffic restrictions were in place across parts of the Old City, especially around Charminar and nearby heritage sites, ensuring a smooth experience for the guests and organizers.
The event not only marked the glamorous launch of Miss World 2025 but also successfully showcased Hyderabad’s timeless charm to an international audience.
