Nagababu, who started his career as an actor and later transitioned into a successful film producer, has experienced both triumphs and setbacks throughout his journey. While his career faced a significant setback with the failure of Orange, which led to financial losses, Nagababu found a new path in politics. Initially supporting his brother Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party, he later became a key figure backing Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party. Over time, Nagababu has been vocal in his criticism of political opponents, particularly Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and N. Chandrababu Naidu, in line with the political climate.

Despite facing challenges in securing the TTD Chairman position and a Rajya Sabha nomination, Nagababu has recently achieved a major political milestone. He has been appointed as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), with strong support from Pawan Kalyan. Nagababu successfully completed his nomination process, submitting his assets, liabilities, and other details to the Election Commission. Notably, he has no criminal cases against him, which adds credibility to his political standing.

According to his MLC nomination affidavit, Nagababu has substantial investments amounting to ₹55.37 crore in mutual funds and bonds. His financial portfolio also includes ₹21.81 lakh in cash, ₹23.53 lakh in bank deposits, and ₹1.03 crore in loans extended to others. Among his luxury assets, Nagababu owns a Mercedes-Benz valued at ₹67.28 lakh and a Hyundai car worth ₹11.04 lakh. His personal collection of gold weighs 226 grams, worth ₹18.10 lakh, while his wife owns 724 grams of gold valued at ₹57.90 lakh, alongside 20 kg of silver and 55 carats of diamonds.

In terms of immovable assets, Nagababu owns land across several locations, including 2.39 acres in Ranga Reddy district valued at ₹3.55 crore, 3.28 acres in Narsapur, Medak district, and a five-acre plot in the same area. Additionally, he owns 1.07 acres in Tekulapalli, Ranga Reddy district, and a 460-square-foot residential villa in Manikonda, Hyderabad, valued at ₹2.88 crore. His total immovable assets are valued at ₹11.20 crore.

On the liabilities side, Nagababu carries a housing loan of ₹56.97 lakh across two banks, a car loan of ₹7.54 lakh, and owes ₹1.64 crore to private individuals. Additionally, he has borrowed ₹28.48 lakh from his elder brother, Chiranjeevi, and ₹6.90 lakh from his younger brother, Pawan Kalyan.

Nagababu’s financial details have sparked significant conversation across both the film and political communities, highlighting his extensive wealth and the complex nature of his financial dealings.
