Well, the latest trend is to go spiritual and just about everybody is taking to some spiritual path or the other. Reasons could be varied depending on a variety of factors, but just about everyone has a guru or ism to follow these days.
So, how can our politicians who are constantly in limelight be left behind of such influences? Well, the latest news is about YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy taking to spiritual path in a big way. Of late, he has been visiting a lot temples and ashrams much to the delight of those in political circles.
Recently, when he was touring Vizag, he visited Sarada Peetham and even took part in the ‘aavirbhava pooja’ there. He also performed special pujas along with the Peetham’s main guru Swaroopanandendra. Later, he went to Simhachalam and paid respects to Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
There, he took part in the special puja where a piece of cloth is tied to the dhwaja sthambam. On the other hand, he also visited the cyclone affected families and spoke to them about their problems. On the occasion, he said the government failed to conserve and safeguard the coastline.
Nithya Menen Turned Down Kick-Boxer Role
26-year old Nithya Menen has already appeared in close to 32 films in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil languages. Unlike her contemporaries, Nithya is considered as of the best performers and she doesn’t believe in skin show.
Speaking of her career, Nithya said, “I’m happy with the kind of work I have done. I don’t want to rush and do back-to-back films. This is one of the reasons why I’ve turned down the role of a kick-boxer.
Nithya won Filmfare award for her wonderful performance in ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe’ and the actress is currently working with Sharwanand for ‘Yemito Ee Maya’ and ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’.
Shocker: Union ministry imposed ban on NTV
Reputed news channel NTV faced ban.Dont worry .. it was not a permanent.NTV was given a directive from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to keep off air for seven days from February 3 to 10 for allegedly airing obscene videos in the midnight.
The decision took by Union I&B Minister of state (independent charge) Prakash Javadekar.It was taken after receiving an individual complaint against the channel for telecasting “obscene” content during Feb-March 2012.
In the complaint they alleged that the show ‘Cine Colors’, which was aired at 11.30 pm for four months in 2012, aired uncensored hot clips from movies to lure the audience. Acting on the petition union broadcasting ministry imposed ban on the channel from February 3 to February 10.
The management of NTV has approached High Court seeking the cancellation of orders to ban their channel. T. Ramadevi, the director of Rachana Television PVT Limited, requested the court to cancel the orders saying they had already given their clarification on the issue to the ministry.
But the ministry clearly expressed that the channel flouted the regulations of the broadcasting law and imposed a week ban.
Chiru-Botsa not supporting Congress?
There may be no immediate prospects of recovery for Andhra Pradesh Congress but this hasn’t suppressed the internal caste war which is raging in Congress party. Sources say that Chiru and Botsa have already issued calls for the cadre.
And they have reportedly communicated to party high command that they won’t be supporting the party’s candidate Sridevi who has been fielded in Tirupathi bypoll, which was necessitated due to the death of TDP sitting MLA Venkataramana.
The Kapu leaders in Congress feel that when Shobha Nagireddy passed away and bypoll was held in Allagadda, there was no candidate fielded, apparently due to PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy and other leaders who are seen favouring Reddys.
Now Botsa and Chiru have questioned the rationale of Congress fighting bypolls in Tirupathi as they feel that PCC chief wants to fight against TDP candidate Sugunamma here, because she is a kapu.
They are enraged that if it was a Reddy candidate, then Congress would have stayed away citing the regular trend of supporting unanimous candidature in the event of a sitting MLA’s death.
Mahesh to enjoy a month at his favourite hangout
Superstar Mahesh Babu is silently shooting for his next under the direction of Koratala Siva. While the movie was shot in Hyderabad and Pune until now, the movie team will be going to Pollachi next month for a crucial schedule.
This schedule will begin on February 1st and will go on for a month there. Few crucial scenes and a song of the movie will be canned there. Pollachi is said to be Mahesh’s favourite hangout place in India and he will enjoy the shoot for sure.

This film is the first combination of Mahesh Babu and Shruti Hassan in a film. Earlier the slender actress danced for an item number in Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu. Touted to be commercial action entertainer like Koratala’s debut film, Mirchi, the movie has Jagapathi Babu playing father of Mahesh Babu. Popular Overseas distributors Mytri Film Makers are turning producers for this film.
Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music.
Pic Proof: Pawan Kalyan – a man of actions!
In the picture is the autograph of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan given to a student when he visited GMRIT Engineering College in Rajam. The Autograph came with a message ‘ Do not talk, Just do it’, a message which the actor wants students to adopt.
Pawan Kalyan was there to visit GMR institutions and interacted with students there. He asked for the students not to forget their social responsibility and requested them to develop questioning attitude. He announced that that responsibility forced him to come to politics.
He visited the Vara Lakshmi Foundation, School and hospitals being run by GMR group there. GMR Group owner, Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao accompanied Pawan Kalyan there. Huge number of people and fans came there to see Pawan Kalyan.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming offering, Srimanthudu (Working Title) reportedly has an item number. The makers of the film are planning to make it a highlight by roping Porn Star turned Bollywood actress, Sunny Leone. It is said that they are already in talks with Sunny and the deal will be finalized in a few days.
This song will take place in a Pub back drop and set is being planned in Hyderabad for this purpose. Sunny Leone already made her Telugu debut in Manchu Manoj’s Current Teega in which she played a little role as a Teacher and as well as danced for a song. Srimanthudu team will go for a one month schedule in Pollachi early in February.

Except Revanth, Everyone is Leaving
There are reports that very soon Kukatpally MLA from TDP Madhavaram Krishna Rao would also be joining TRS party. In fact, sources reveal he was among the first to plan quitting TDP few months ago. According to reports, he was the one who had instigated Teegala, a fact Teegala Krishna Reddy mentioned while leaving TDP that those who goaded him have stayed back.
Anyway it may be getting done now. However, while interacting with Lokesh, Krishna Rao reportedly said that almost all of the TDP MLA’s are in touch with TRS. Anyway, Errabelli Dayakar Rao is already treated as a leader who has been sitting on the wall for a long time, waiting for a right time.
Insider story is that sooner or later, TRS would ensure that all MLAs of TDP leave the party while there might be one person remaining and he is the firebrand Revanth Reddy. Unless Chandrababu Naidu comes up with some strong measures things may not change.
Pawan Reveals Secret Reason in AP bifurcation!
The Power Star of Tollywood, Pawan Kalyan has made his point clear about the reason behind the bifurcation of the united AP state. Pawan said “After those hard efforts put by people like Mahatma Gandhi for a united India, a mistake committed by one generation has now bifurcated our state.
This happened has youth failed to question them back. Let’s not repeat such mistakes in the future.” Pawan added “Only due to huge sacrifices made by lakhs of people we have got freedom. Prakash Raj fell ill
Versatile actor Prakash Raj has fallen ill and he was advised a weeks bed rest by doctors. As per reports Prakash has been suffering from high temperature and flu like symptoms. This news was shared by the actor himself through his twitter handle.
He posted: “Cold ..fever ..doctors order 3 day bed rest . This winters camp fire’s Chilly misty nights by my pond. And yesssss …my cigarette s grrrrrrr”. Prakash Raj is currently resting at his farm house at Hyderabad outskirts.
Meanwhile Prakash Raj is busy shooting for NTR starrer Temper Puri Jagannath’s direction and he recently wrapped up his part but the dubbing yet to be completed.
It is learnt that Prakash Raj is playing a special role called Waltair Vamsi in the movie and Prakash Raj’s character will be present throughout the film.
Why TRS is silent on Rajaiah issue?
TRS leaders held press meet for every two days in Telangana Bhavan though there was no issue. This time TRS leaders maintained distance to the Telangana Bhavan after sacking of Rajaiah from the cabinet.
It is surprising that no one has dared to uphold KCR’s decision openly on Rajaiah dismissal from Telangana Cabinet. Protests from dalit communities and allegations from opposition parties have increased after the dismissal of Rajaiah and taking Srihari into the Cabinet.
TRS leaders are not ready to give strong reply to opposition parties and to support KCR’s decision. They supported on KCR’s decision internally among their decision. TRS leaders are in dilemma what could happen if they put press meet on KCR’s decision.
TRS already received the label of ‘Anti-Dalit’ community after sacking of Rajaiah. Instead of getting of ‘Anti-Corruption’ government, TRS government labeled as ‘Anti-Dalit’ party.
They thought that Rajaiah issue will be diluted after two days. In Khammam and Janagaon, Dalit communities set fire to effigies of KCR against his decision.
