Is This Proof Of Chandra Babu’s Failure?

Share
Had an opposition party been in power at the Centre, the TDP government would have gone ballistic with its criticism thanks to Centre’s refusal to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh. Since BJP is the poll-ally of TDP, Chandra Babu Naidu is maintaining a ‘no comments’ status on the situation.
In fact, he has said that the Centre was going through financial problems and that it cannot allot funds at this point. Apparently, the same has been conveyed to his Cabinet colleagues and they have been given instructions not to bad-mouth Centre’s decision.
Meanwhile, there are stories floating around that Chandra Babu has also decided to reduce his frequent visits to New Delhi. A few days back, he met up with 11 union ministers, but nothing came out of those meetings.
So, Babu is now planning not to waste any time flying to Delhi to put across his requests. Also, at the same time, he cannot take on BJP for obvious reasons. And Babu is said to be considering an alternate strategy to deal with the situation.
They cannot criticize BJP openly, but they need to find a way out to get funds from the Centre and this has put the TDP leaders in a dilemma as they have to go about their job smoothly. So, does this reflect the helplessness of Chandra Babu?

KCR Gives Rs 10 Cr Ads To Communist Paper!

At a time when the Telugu daily Namasthe Telangana promoted by none other than Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is struggling to pay salaries to its contributors across the State, as the advertisement revenues are not matching up to its expenditure, a newly-launched Telangana Telugu daily is virtually making big money, thanks to support from KCR.
The new daily – Mana Telangana – promoted by Communist Party of India, was formally launched by KCR on Sunday. And the Chief Minister is learnt to have ordered the officials of the Information & Public Relations department to release government advertisements to the new daily regularly.
Sources said KCR had pledged advertisements worth Rs 10 crore to Mana Telangana for this year. One wonders how a newly-launched paper can get government advertisements, because it takes a minimum of six months (that too on special consideration) for the government to empanel any daily for advertisements.
But if one takes a close look at Mana Telangana, one can observe that the so-called “inaugural” issue on Sunday was actually issue no. 216 of Volume 3.

Surprise: Temper Has Another Heroine

Share
Temper is gearing up for release and slowly efforts are being made to up the curiosity of the audiences and NTR fans. We already know that Kajal is playing the main lead in the film. Now comes the news that the film also has Madhurima playing an important role.
Since our films no longer have the sacrificing heroine, it is said that she will be playing ‘sister type’ character, whatever that means. But that’s not our news. It has now come out that the film has yet another glam doll.
Sonia Agarwal who acted in 7G Brindavan Colony later married director Selva Raghavan and took a break. However, after some time, they got divorced and she has been idle for some time. Apparently, she has a key role in the film which will provide the ultimate twist to the story.
We are told that Sonia hopes to grab more roles in Telugu once Temper releases. Let’s wait and watch. On the other hand, NTR seems to be pretty confident of his cop character as he didn’t bother to have a top-ranking actress playing the heroine.

Rakul Preet Singh first faced the camera when she was all of two, and her love for showbiz since has only grown manifold. Having done her fair share of catwalks before entering films, she says modelling gives newcomers a push into the movie world.
Rakul, who made her Bollywood debut with “Yaariyan” and has starred in various southern films like “Venkatadri Express”, “Loukyam” and “Current Theega”, calls herself a “filmy kid”. “I was a filmy kid. I was two when I faced the camera for the first time. My parents realised it pretty early and I’m really thankful to them for their support and help.
I did modelling for a year, but then I always wanted to be an actress,” Rakul told IANS over phone from Mumbai. A former Miss India contestant, Rakul started paving her way to films through the ramp. Asked why she chose a modelling career if she had her eyes set on films, the Delhi-born beauty said: “Beauty pageants work as a platform from where you can reach out to many.
Although they are two different fields, they come under the same group. “For newcomers, modelling is like a stepping stone to acting. The exposure and experience in modelling helps…But for acting, we have to show a lot of hard work and dedication towards it.”
On the film front, Rakul will next be seen in two southern movies — “Pandaga Chesko” and “Kick 2”. Apart from that, in the Bollywood space she will play an “independent girl” in filmmaker Ramesh Sippy’s light-hearted comedy “Shimla Mirchi”, which stars veteran actress Hema Malini and actor Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. The film is likely to release in June this year.

Why is Pawan Creating Unnecessary Controversy?

Share
Power Star Pawan Kalyan went to Rajam (Srikakulam district) to participate in an event along with Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu. We don’t need to say it again that Pawan Kalyan is silent on his Jana Sena Party and is hanging out a lot with BJP Leaders.
While addressing the crowd, Pawan Kalyan said, “Just because of the mistakes done by a generation, Telugu people are having two states today”. Well, all said and done, Telangana has been separated from Andhra Pradesh and the leaders from both the places are concentrating on developing their respective regions.
Political analysts are saying that Pawan Kalyan is creating unnecessary controversies by talking about one state in another region and they feel that It will be better for the Powerstar if he can concentrate on his party and films.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is delighted that US President Barack Obama incorporated his famous “Senorita” dialogue during an address in the national capital. Now King Khan hopes that Obama will groove to his hit number “Chaiyya chaiyya” some day.

Senorita, bade bade deshon … You know what I mean,” he said. Even though he cut the popular dialogue short, Obama managed to draw a huge applause and cheer from the audience. For SRK, one of Bollywood’s top-rated filmstars and a global icon, it was a moment to feel proud.
“Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn’t do the Bhangra… next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure,” Shah Rukh tweeted. Composed by Oscar-winning music maestro A.R. Rahman, the popular dance number is part of the “Dil Se” sound-track.
