Temper prefers risk, Bunny backs out!

Share
At a time when Jr NTR is gearing up to take a mammoth risk, we hear that stylish star Allu Arjun is backing out from the race. The only reason that forced him to do so is the low potential of the season for the kind of big budgeted film he is coming up with.
Jr NTR and Puri Jagan’s latest movie ‘Temper’ will be hitting screens on February 13th as per trade circuits, though they are also considering Feb 5th as another option. In the meanwhile, Bunny-Trivikram’s film that was supposed to hit screens on Feb 5th is now postponed.
Closes sources in the unit revealed that Bunny is eyeing an April 1st week release for his latest romantic comedy. Going by trends, we have to say that Jr NTR is risking heavily as February happens to be exams seasons for students.
With cricket world cup likely to start, evening shows will prove tougher to fill crowds. If it is April, then summer holidays will start for students and families. Undoubtedly, Temper is at little risk of losing certain collections while Bunny will be using the holiday advantage.
At any given day, if a flick gets blockbuster talk on day one, seasons and holidays doesn’t matter for collections.

IT employees paid best in India: Report

New Delhi: The information technology (IT) sector, with an average gross salary of Rs.341.80 per hour, has emerged as the most lucrative industry in India, a study conducted by a career and recruitment solutions provider in the country said here Tuesday.
According to Monster Salary Index, which is aimed at successfully providing job seekers with a benchmark to compare their salaries with other anonymous profiles across a broad spectrum of industry domains in India and other global markets, the IT sector earns 45 percent more than other sectors. Analysing the trends of the Indian market, the report shows that with a median gross salary of Rs.291, finance is the second most lucrative sector.
The salary index shows that the median gross salary in the construction sector stood at Rs.259 per hour, education at Rs.186.5, healthcare at Rs.215, legal aid at Rs.215.6 and manufacturing and transport at Rs.230.9. In a developing economy like India, the manufacturing sector forms its backbone. The analysis of the sector shows that the median salary is Rs.230.9 per hour, a figure that is slightly lower than the average in the whole economy.
Nonetheless, disparities in salary exist in the sector on the basis of educational qualification/skills of an individual, the report said. It also highlighted that education sector gets the lowest hourly salary of Rs 186.50 per hour. This can be attributed to the fact that there are relatively more women working here than in other sectors. Women are paid 18 percent lesser than men in the same sector, the report said. “We are pleased to bring forth the findings of the first of its kind index in the country. This intellectual property has been created with a foresight to equip the industry at large.
The country is on the edge of a new wave of development, which is expected to deliver jobs and prosperity to millions,” said Sanjay Modi, the managing director (India/Middle East/ Southeast Asia/Hong Kong). Globally, the same survey indicates that females in the workplace are not being compensated in the same way as their male counterparts.
While there has been a great increase in the number of women in supervisory positions, this does not reflect in the salary that those women are receiving. “The two welcome highlights of the finance sector are that it has emerged second in the league of lucrative careers. Secondly the gender pay gap is 19 percent which is lower than the average in the Indian economy. On the other hand, the IT sector which leads the game has a gender pay gap where women earn around 34 percent less than men,” Modi added.

AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday lambasted his party’s senior leaders in the State for not organizing protests against the people’s representatives, who had defected from party. The AICC leader pulled up the leaders for not performing well in the Assembly and also for their failure to strengthen the party in the State.
He was speaking at the brainstorming session held with Coordination Committee meeting at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday. It was a part of three-day tour of Digvijay Singh. Digvijay reportedly questioned them as to why they failed to launch agitation in a democratic manner against the defected MLAs and MLCs. He suggested to the party coordination committee members to lodge complaints against MLAs and MLCs in the High Court and fight for justice.
He also lashed out at the leaders for not cooperating with each other in fighting with government’s defective politics and policies. Expressing his displeasure over the party affairs, Digvijay asked the senior leaders to go all with one voice in order to strengthen the party in the State. The AICC leader said, “Except our student organization, all other student organizations were protesting against the TRS government’s FAST Scheme”.
He advised them to work together and help strengthen the party by burying differences amongst them, according to one of the members of Coordination Committee, who preferred anonymity. The AICC leader also enquired about the defections in the party since the TRS formed the government. Digvijay reportedly felt that the party leaders at the helm of the affairs in the State were not serious in tackling defections.

‘Big conspiracy to trouble Rajni’s entry’ – Producer

Superstar Rajnikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ producer Rockline Venkatesh has finally opened up the controversy raked up by distributors of Tamilnadu. In a sensational claim, he accused that few big forces in sambar land that don’t want Rajni to spin a magic on the political stage are behind all these agitations of Lingaa distributors. ‘In 2016, Tamilnadu is set for assembly elections.
Those people who don’t want Rajnikanth’s entry into politics are now trying to tarnish his image by raking up these unnecessary issues. This is a conspiracy’, accused Venkatesh, confirming that he will no way repay any distributor. ‘As Rajni is 64 now, he shouldn’t miss the chance to enter politics. Millions of fans like me are waiting for his political entry.
That’s the reason these distributors are trying to malign Superstar’s image’, he added further. Earlier, Singaravelan, a distributor from Trichy in Tamilnadu took a hunger strike demanding Rockline Venkatesh repay the loss caused by Lingaa’s failure at box office before breathing fire on Rajni for not intervening into the mater.
‘We’ve informed in prior that Lingaa will hit screens on December 12. How would a distributor claim losses just on third day of release itself? Being insider, Singaravelan knows that it takes 2-3 weeks time to amass the investment. But it is sad that he started promoting negatively about the flick in no time’, adds Venkatesh. Also he pointed out that the agreement with distributors provides no clause for refund of pay in case of movie’s failure.

You have seen directors becoming heroes, cinematographers doing special roles and even music directors giving friendly appearances but have you seen a spiritual guru becoming a film hero? Well, it has happened now in Bollywood and the man in focus happens to be Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
He is the founder of the cult organization Dera Sacha Sauda and now will be seen as the hero through the film ”MSG: Messenger Of God’. The film has generated enough buzz and controversy owing to the philosophy of this spiritual guru.
However, it appears that nothing is going to stop him from arriving in theatres. According to many media houses in the north, Ram Rahim Singh has got tremendous following especially in communities hailing from Punjab and Haryana.
Interestingly, those who have seen the trailer state the film looks like a proper commercial potboiler treat and not a spiritual Gyan giving flick. Get set for this special offering!

Amul Taste Of India, Lokesh Best Of India

No, this not Amul Butter’s latest ad. But this is the latest retort of TDP to remarks made by TRS members. Recently, TRS MLA Balaraju and MLC Karne Prabhakar called Lokesh Amul Boy. So, TDP’s official spokesperson N Narasi Reddy has responded to their curt remark by saying, ‘Amul Taste of India, Lokesh Best of India’.
He said that Lokesh constantly worried about people and thought of doing his best for him unlike others who were power hungry. Reddy also said that Lokesh did not have the extortion history that KCR and his family had.
He pointed that Lokesh has the rare distinction of organizing and holding a fund for the welfare of TDP cadre. It was necessary for all TRS leaders to look into their backgrounds before making negative statements about Lokesh, said Reddy.
Karne Prabhakar is known to have collected money from industrialists in Nalgonda, reminded Reddy. If TRS leaders point fingers at Lokesh, then his party will be forced to disclose the kind of jobless people who were given posts and the reasons for their choice, warned Reddy.

Sushma Bails Out Gali?

There is more to it than what meets the eye in the Supreme Court granting bail to mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday in the Obulapuram illegal mining case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation, which probed the scam, did not raise any objection to the bail petition of Gali, stating that the investigation in the case involving Reddy was complete and both the charge-sheet as well as the supplementary charge-sheet had been filed.
Taking on record the submission of the agency, a bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu said, “Since the investigating agency has no objection in granting bail, we are granting bail to the petitioner (Reddy).” The CBI has followed the same procedure it had done in case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
In case of Jagan, too, the CBI toned down the chargesheets and did not oppose Jagan’s bail petition, allegedly under the pressure from then powers-that-be. In case of Gali, too, sources said the CBI had acted under pressure from the BJP government.

Shock!! No Identification For Samantha

Share
Mahesh Babu, Shruti Haasan, Trisha and the one only Samantha. Does this ring anything in your brain? All these people are highly followed celebs on micro-blogging site twitter, with Samantha too recently joining the mighty million followers club. But still our young heroine lacks any identification.
Twitter generally sends a ‘verification’ team to these celebrities in order to find out if the real celeb is operating the account or some impersonator is tricking the followers. After verifying, they will give an identification mark, precisely a blue coloured tick mark as a suffix to the name of the account holder on twitter.
Mahesh, Shruti and Trisha has this tick long back, but Samantha’s account that got more than 10 lakh followers is not verified even now. Some say that Samantha is yet to approach twitter to get her account verified, while others feel that as Samantha has earlier deleted an account and re-started a new one, twitter is taking her on a lighter vein.
Though the accounts of biggies like Pawan and Rajni got verified and an identification mark was put even before anyone followed them, it is sad that Sam is yet to get the ‘tick’.
