But Mahesh fans had their revenge, taking potshots at Sam’s two piece bikini acts in ‘Sikander’. However the feud hasn’t ended it seems.
 
The other day, Samantha has tweeted something in general and now it is being adapted to the fate of ‘Aagadu’ at box office. ‘These boomerangs are so amazing. You throw them with great force and they just come right back at you and smack you in the head.#toys#fun (sic)’, posted Samantha, on her micro blogging site. Rumour mills are now busy reading between the lines and they say that Sam stirred hornet’s nest again.
 
In fact, as Mahesh fans took heavy dig at her bikini and the subsequent failure of ‘Anjaan’, probably she now wants to point out that similar fate has imbibed ‘Aagadu’ too, say observers.  Samantha might have really taken a dig or she might not have, but fans are not in a mood to pursue any arguments.

As we know, Akkinenis multi starrer ‘manam’ and the director Ayodhya Kumar’s ‘Minugurulu’ were shortlisted among 28 other movies by the Film Federation of India( FFI) to be sent for Oscar Awards 2015, as India’s official entries. However, here is a disappointing news for Akkinenis fans.

Namrata reportedly called him and gave him a mouthful. Evidently, the fan is heartbroken and is only hoping that hero realizes facts with time. He has already stopped tweeting as well as posting in the discussion board of the actor.

If the makers or the actor feel so bad of the movie result, better they blame themselves more but not the poor fans who dedicate their time, energy and money for adoring an actor.

Vikram and Shankar’s magnum opus film I audio launch was a star-studded affair with top rated film personalities such as Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rajinikanth, AR Rahman, Kannada actor Puneet Rajkumar etc attending. Undeniably, Arnold was the cynosure of all eyes. Now Arnold wrote a special letter to the producer for making his visit “incredibly successful”.

“Thank you for everything you did to make my visit to Chennai such an incredible success,” the star of “The Terminator” franchise wrote in his letter to Ravichandran. “I was proud to be part of the launch of the soundtrack of ‘I’ and you and your brothers all deserve a lot of credit for producing not only such a dynamic film, but also for putting on one of the best events I’ve ever attended,” he wrote. “From the incredible hotel to the delicious food, the visit was perfect.

But the icing on the cake was the event. I have been to the Oscars, and the Golden Globes, and every event you can imagine. Let me tell you something – they could all learn from how you stage a production,” he wrote. “The whole event flowed perfectly, and the energy there could have powered all of India. The bodybuilders were a fantastic touch and made everything organic. I couldn’t help but take the stage after that performance, because I knew it was the perfect time,” he added.

In his letter Arnold praised the Tamil romantic-thriller “I” as a “dynamic film”.Arnold has already watched the movie in special screening has lauded director Shankar’s making standards. October 5th will mark the 25th anniversary of Ram Gopal Varma’s finest creation ever, Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer ‘Shiva’. Spending a bomb on the old negative print, Annapurna Studios has digitally restored ‘Siva’ to a finest quality as stored ‘film’ degrades in time with scratches and dust all over.
 
And another thing is that digitally restored ‘Sanakarabaranam’, carved by master craftsman K Viswanath is also releasing, not in Telugu but its Tamil dubbed version on October 2nd. These two are like golden movies that will hit silver screen alongside Charan – Vamsi’s ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’.
 
However, Supriya Allagadda from Annapurna Studios confirmed that there is no such re-release planned for ‘Siva’ though there is popular demand. Also Sankarabaranam’s Tamil version will not be releasing in Telugu states. That means, these golden flicks will be a treat for a later time but not at the moment. 

The magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ has set the right expectations from the time it was announced and the hype is touching the sky. While that is one side of it, the other critical side to it is how this film is going to change the fate of Telugu cinema.

In Tollywood’s history, ‘Baahubali’ is the film made with highest budget ever. Inside reports reveal just the daily interest is Rs 10 lakhs for the producers so it goes to show how quickly the film has to be made. Given this kind of external finance involved, the budget has crossed Rs 100 crores. Since it is helmed by the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli, the confidence levels are high.

He is not only a good filmmaker but also a master strategist when it comes to selling his movie. If ‘Baahubali’ results in a blockbuster then this will open the floodgates for many high budget movies to hit the floors and even big Bollywood production houses will venture into this segment. But if ‘Baahubali’s result is otherwise, the collateral damage is going to be extremely high.

Forget about small budget films to get handsome rates when star studded films have been struggling.

Low budget movies get good satellite rights deal only if they do well at the ticket windows and get good reviews from critics. But here is a small film that has fetched 2 crore satellite deal prior to its release. Lakshmi Rave Maa intiki starring Avika Gor is being made on a budget of 2.5 crore rupees. This film has already recovered 2 crores through satellite rights. Why did that channel shell out such a big amount on a small film? When we dig in to the details about the deal, we have found out that Avika Gor is the reason for this sensation.

Avika Gor, who was a superstar in Television field with Chinnari Pellikooturu has made a sensational debut on silver screen with Uyyala Jampala. This film has been getting very good TRPs every time it was aired on TV and they have found out that Avika is the main reason for this achievement. So after so many channels competing for the rights, a big channel has sealed the deal for 2 crore. Avika reportedly bagged 60 lakh rupees to act in this film. It must be said that this is an initiative from the government of India indirectly. Well, the idea behind this challenge is to use only Indian products right from cars, soaps, shampoos to anything that is manufactured in this country. This new form of challenge has started in the social networking platform Facebook and it is now trending hot.

After the ice bucket challenge, the rice challenge was introduced and created a significant impact. Currently, ‘Make My Tree’ challenge is on and the south cine celebrities are promoting it aggressively. Now, it is the turn of ‘Made In India Challenge’. The idea is, if the usage of Indian goods increases then rupee value increases and it will give a big boost to the economy. Take it up folks!

Almost a bunch of aspiring directors, guys who have worked with bigwigs like Sukumar, Vinayak, Sreenu Vytla and Rajamouli, are spending time at Geetha Arts office, preparing various scripts and giving narrations to producer Bunny Vasu and hero Allu Sirish. With heroes like Sirish, Varun Tej and Saidharam waiting for right scripts to get their career into a happening track, Geetha Arts is trying to cook stuff as ‘huge’ as possible.

An aspiring director who is travelling with this office from 6 months says, ‘Everyday we’re bouncing a new idea to be added to existing and approved story-line and they are suggesting changes. No one knows if our script rolls like a project one day, but whole time is being spent here’.

Already directors like Vijay Kumar Konda and Pawan Sadineni worked at Geetha Arts office similarly before finally walking out and finding a new hero and producer. Let us see what Geetha Arts will say about this.
