Ever since Congress party scored a big zero with complete washout in the new state of Andhra Pradesh, naturally its rival national political party BJP is trying its best to take the political advantage of the situation. Adding to this, the party is in ruling at Centre and Narendra Modi wave is riding high through out the country.
Eyeing to strengthen its party from the roots in the truncated state, BJP is chalking out plans to please ‘Kapu’ community. As Kamma community is strongly backing up TDP and Reddys sailing with Jagan’s YSRCP, BJP wants to woo another major community Kapus in the state and want to draw them towards it.
And it also found a star face in form of Pawan Kalyan from the community. Although Kalyan distanced himself from the community and projected himself as a brand, there is no denying that most of the Kapus are following him. This is perhaps the reason behind BJP strongly vouching for Pawan. If reports are anything to go by, BJP’s long term plan seems to be to welcome none other than Chiranjeevi into its fold through his younger brother.
BJP senior most leader Venkaiah Naidu’s latest comments on praising Pawan and Chiru say that all. Also reports have it that ex PCC chief and Congress minister Botsa would soon be joining BJP. This clearly indicates that BJP is trying to send out signals to all Kapus that it’s an alternative force for them to reckon with.
